Privacy Policy
1. The short version
Your trade journal data stays entirely on your own machine. We never see it. The only personal information we hold about you is your account email address and the status of your subscription — nothing more.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Your trade journal data
wicknote is a local-first application. Every trade entry, screenshot, tag, note, and journal record is stored directly on your own machine (via IndexedDB in the browser version or SQLite in the desktop version). This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers. We have no access to it.
4. Supabase
We use Supabase (Supabase Inc.) as our backend provider for user accounts and subscription state. Supabase stores your account email address and your current subscription status (for example: active, on trial, cancelled). Supabase is hosted on AWS infrastructure. 5. Lemon Squeezy (Merchant of Record)
Subscription payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy collects your payment details, billing address, and any other information required to complete the transaction and comply with applicable tax law. We receive confirmation of your subscription status from Lemon Squeezy via a secure webhook, but we do not receive or store your full payment details. 6. Vercel Analytics
The wicknote marketing website uses Vercel Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics service that measures aggregate page traffic (page views, referrer country). Vercel Analytics does not use tracking cookies, does not fingerprint individual visitors, and does not build personal profiles. No personally identifiable information is collected by this service. 7. Transactional email
To send account verification and other transactional emails, we use a third-party email delivery provider (such as Resend, SendGrid, or an equivalent service). This provider receives your email address for the sole purpose of delivering emails you have requested (for example, an account confirmation link). We do not use this provider for marketing emails without your separate consent.
8. Data retention
Your account email and subscription record are retained for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, this data is removed from Supabase within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, tax records held by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record).
9. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us via the wicknote Discord .
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services evolve. Material changes will be announced in the wicknote Discord. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
